Job Description

Direct, manage and coordinate logistics, warehouses, transportation and customer service activities worldwide. Assist and support in supply chain, sales and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Planning shipments based on customers purchase orders/requirements.
  • Track orders to ensure timely deliveries and keep the customers/sales dpt updated.
  • Prepare shipping documents, supplier purchase orders and invoices.
  • Schedule inspection services and transport based on production schedules.
  • Oversee the levels of our warehouse stock and place orders as needed.
  • Manage selected customer accounts, including sourcing and procurement for specific requests, creating pricelists. providing accountancy services.
  • Researching and seeking out the most cost-efficient shipment procedures and methods. Negotiating with freight forwarders.
  • Assist in office management, administration and organization procedures
  • Manage bounded warehouse; ensure proper documentation for all movements, maintain relationship with customs office, apply for necessary permits.
  • Support proper utilization of ERP system use.

Skills & Experience

  • Perfect English knowledge. French and/or Dutch is also required
  • 2+ years of work experience as logistics/administration or supply chain officer.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, highly organized and detailed oriented.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadline. High flexibility.
  • ERP knowledge is a plus.
